How to update your payment method
App Store and Google Play subscriptions are charged to the payment method in your store account. Change the card or add a backup there.
Updated · iOS and Android
A subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play is charged to the payment method saved in your Apple Account or Google Account, so you change it in the store, not in the exam app.
iOS
Update a card you already use
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Payment & Shipping. You might be asked to sign in to your Apple Account.
- Tap the payment method, then tap Edit.
- Enter your new billing information, then tap Done.
If updating doesn't work, add a new payment method and remove the old one
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Payment & Shipping.
- Tap Add Payment Method, enter the new payment method, then tap Done.
- Tap Edit, tap the red delete button next to the old payment method, then tap Remove.
Your bank or card issuer may also update your payment information automatically. If your primary payment method can't be charged, Apple tries your other payment methods in the order they appear in your account.
