What happens after you cancel your subscription?
Canceling stops automatic renewal, so you are not charged again. What the App Store, Google Play and our website policy say happens next.
Updated · iOS, Android and Web
When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing and you are not charged for the next period. Canceling does not refund a payment you have already made.
iOS
- App Store subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your Apple Account settings. After you cancel, the subscription shows an expiration message in red text in Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
- To subscribe again later, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Tap the expired subscription, then tap Renew.
