What happens to my progress if I switch between RN and PN?
Progress, including completed questions and analytics, is saved separately for each exam. Switch anytime and pick up where you left off.
Updated · iOS and Android
Your progress isn't lost when you switch: NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN each keep their own. When you switch back, you continue from where you stopped. In the words of the app's FAQ:
All progress, including completed questions and analytics, is saved separately for each exam. You can switch anytime and pick up right where you left off.
The Study, Stats and Review tabs show the name of your exam at the top, for example NCLEX-RN®.
Android
In the Android app, after you switch to an exam you haven't studied yet, its Stats start from zero and its Review is empty. When you switch back, the other exam's Stats and Review are as you left them.
To switch exams, see how to switch between NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN. If you want to start an exam over instead, see how to reset your progress: unlike a switch, a reset can't be undone.
