How do I read my quiz results?

The results screen shows how many answers were correct and incorrect, the share of correct answers as a percentage, and the questions to review.

Updated · iOS and Android

When you finish a quiz, or end it early with Submit Quiz, the results screen opens. Its title names the quiz, for example Quick 10 Results or Random Mix Results.

iOS

In the iPhone app, the last question of a Quick 10 has a Submit Quiz button in place of Next Question. It opens Quick 10 Results straight away, with no confirmation. The screen shows Correct and Incorrect out of 10, a ring with the percentage, and Review Questions with the tabs All, Saved, Incorrect and Correct.

What the results show

  • Correct: how many of your answers were right, for example 7 / 10.
  • Incorrect: how many were wrong, for example 3 / 10.
  • A ring with the share of correct answers as a percentage: 70% for 7 correct out of 10.
  • A short message under the numbers, such as "That's real progress, well done".
  • Review Questions: the questions from this quiz, each with its topic, the start of the question and a check mark or a cross. The tabs All, Saved, Incorrect and Correct narrow the list.

A share button is in the top-right corner.

Only answered questions count

The numbers count the questions you answered, not the length of the quiz. Questions you skip, or don't reach because you submitted early, are not counted as answers. For example, if you answer one question of a 30-question Random Mix and tap Submit Quiz, the results show Correct 1 / 1 and 100%.

After the results

Close the results with the × in the top-left corner. The app may then show your day streak.

The questions stay on the Review tab, where you can open each one again with the correct answer and the explanation: see how to review questions you've answered. Your answers also count toward the Stats tab: see how to track your progress.

Case studies have their own results screen, with points instead of correct and incorrect answers: see how to review and retake a case study.
