How does free access to case studies work?
Without a subscription you can answer three questions in one case study. This limit is separate from the 10 free quiz questions.
Updated · iOS and Android
Without a subscription you can try case studies for free: three questions in one case study.
Your three free questions
- Open a case study from Case Studies on the Study tab.
- An orange Free Questions bar at the bottom of the question shows how many you have left. It starts at 3 and goes down by one with each answer.
- This counter is separate from the 10 free quiz questions. Answering case study questions doesn't use up your free quiz questions, and the other way round.
The three free questions are for one case study. In the Android app, once you've used them, another case study opens the subscription screen.
After the third question
After your third answer, the app shows You're on a Roll! with the message "You've reached your free question limit, but don't stop now! Get unlimited access with a 3-day free trial and keep going toward success." You choose one of two buttons:
- Continue Case Study With Free Trial is the Premium offer.
- Submit Quiz (in the Android app, Submit Case Study) ends the case study with your current result and opens its results.
Your result
The results count the points of the whole case study, including the questions you didn't reach. For example, after three free questions worth 5 points, with 4 points scored, the results show Points Scored 4/12 (33%), and the case study's card keeps that score.
The results screen works as usual: Case Summary, Review Questions with your three answers, and Retake Case Study. See how to review and retake a case study.
Android
In the Android app, once your three free questions are used, Retake Case Study opens the subscription screen.
Full access
With Premium, the three-question limit doesn't apply: every case study has all six questions, and there is no Free Questions counter. In the Android app with Premium, the case studies open without the subscription screen, and Retake Case Study starts a completed case study again.
