Subscription & Billing

What is included in Premium?

Premium gives full access to the question bank, NGN case studies, quiz modes, stats and Game Mode. What changes in the app, the two plans and their prices.

Updated · iOS and Android

Premium is the ExamReady subscription. It gives you full access to the app, without the limits of the free version.

What the subscription screen lists

Without a subscription, the subscription screen opens from Start Free Trial (on the Study tab and in Settings) and from the Free Trial tab. It lists:

  • questions and explanations;
  • "Practice NGN case studies";
  • "Master every topic with quiz modes";
  • "Track progress with real-time stats";
  • "Challenge yourself in game mode".

It also offers a "Special gift to boost your prep: NCLEX® Cheat Sheets". Without a subscription, cheat sheets show a lock.

What the app's FAQ lists

In the app's FAQ (the gear on the Study tab › FAQ), the answer to "What's included in the ExamReady subscription?" lists for Premium:

  • Full Question Bank, covering all topics
  • Unlimited Quiz Modes: Mastered, Missed, Saved and Random Mix questions
  • Progress Tracking & Review: "Monitor your performance and revisit past questions."
  • No limits: "Get full access to every feature designed to maximize your study efficiency."

What each quiz is for: see quiz modes and how case studies work.

What changes in the app with Premium

  • The bar at the bottom has three tabs: Study, Stats and Review. The Free Trial tab is gone, and so are the Start Free Trial banners on the Study tab and in Settings.
  • Quizzes and case studies have no Free Questions counter.
  • Question of the Day, Game Mode (Play Now), the quiz modes and case studies open without the subscription screen. See quiz modes and how case studies work.
  • Cheat sheets have no lock: you can open them and save them in the app. See how to find and use cheat sheets.
  • In the Android app, Retake Case Study starts a completed case study again. See how to review and retake a case study.

The app does not show your subscription: Settings has no row with your plan, its status or its renewal date. To see them, open your subscriptions in your Apple Account settings or in Google Play, wherever you subscribed: see how to check your next billing date.

Plans and prices

The subscription screen shows two plans: Yearly Access and 3-Day Free Trial, a monthly plan that starts with a 3-day free trial.

Their prices in the US App Store on October 13, 2026:

PlanPriceRenewal, in the app's FAQ
Yearly Access$119.99 a year, also shown as $10.00 per month"Renews automatically each year"
3-Day Free Trial$29.99 per month, after a 3-day free trial"Renews automatically each month"

When the subscription screen opens, one plan is already selected, with an outline: Yearly Access at the end of the first-launch setup, 3-Day Free Trial before your first quiz and after your free questions run out. Check which plan is selected before you tap Continue.

Prices can change; the subscription screen shows the current ones. The app's FAQ describes both plans as access to "the question bank, analytics, and various study modes" that you can cancel anytime.

The free trial

The monthly plan starts with a 3-day free trial. The app's FAQ says the trial is for new users: "We also offer a free trial for new users so you can explore the app before committing to a subscription."

If you start the trial and don't want to be charged, cancel before it ends; on iPhone, Apple advises canceling at least 24 hours before. See how to cancel your subscription and why your subscription renews automatically.
